Braidwood Hotel

A classic traditional country pub where we aim to create a good atmosphere, and provide pleasant service, delicious food and a range of beverages.

Formerly known as the Commercial Hotel, the Braidwood Hotel is a classic Georgian style hotel built in 1859. Events at the Hotel have featured in the first NSW Royal Commission into police corruption, it has featured in the movie 'The Year My Voice Broke' and Mick Jagger was known to play the piano here while he was filming 'Ned Kelly'. The Hotel has been undergoing a long, loving (and expensive) restoration by the Mitchell family, seeing the exterior returned to the original façade. The interior has been renovated in matching with the era, with timber floors, open fireplaces and a red cedar bar.

The public bar is open 7 days per week serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including draught beer, wine, spirits, coffee and soft drinks. The dining room is open for dinner 5 nights per week and lunch 4 days per week with a range of entrees, mains, desserts and weekly specials that are all delicious and affordably priced.
